Chris Johnson - drummer, producer, songwriter, musical director and author - is one of the world's most recognisable musicians. Regularly seen by audiences of millions, he works with icons such as Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, Camila Cabello, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Seal and J-Lo.
Learning his craft originally in LA's South Central Gospel community as the son of a church choir leader and pastor, Chris is uniquely placed to harness the value of the choir tradition and articulate how that can translate into the skills necessary to write, produce and perform with and for the world's most respected superstars.
Chris is published by the world's largest printed music publisher, Hal Leonard, with his 2021 debut book on Pop, Gospel and R&B, launched by none other than Seth Meyers on his Late Night show.
